With this upgrade, the existing Education Web Portal will be upgraded to Perridot Systems’ iSchool portal engine, re-build with Web 2.0 components.

The new Web portal, based on iSchool Portal engine, will have all contents enabled with RSS, where students and teachers can now subscribed and read in their respective School’s SMS desktop, if they choose to enable them.

The new portal will also have both Podcast and Video broadcast capabilities for school to upload their own co-curriculum activities, schools’ own production of multimedia teaching contents or storyboard presentations.

The new portal is expected to be launched in early 2007
